I own a DC41 - supposedly their best vacuum. The thing works fine but one plastic part or another is always breaking.
Dyson tells me how tough their polycarbonate plastic is (like crash helmets or riot shields - they said) but the plastic is thin, brittle, unreliable and expensive as *** to fix. The plastic rollers on the soleplate routinely fall out and are lost. This causes the thing to develop incredible suction and stick to a hardwood floor like glue. Very hard to move and useless.
To top it off the little rollers cost $4 and the axle to put them on is another $4.
Rediculous. Save your money - I have a Shark vacuum that works just as well and cost about a third as much as the plastic Dyson.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $600.
I didn't like: Buys expensive, Expensive, Plastic, Product quality.
