I purchased a refurbished certified V15 on eBay. it stopped working.
I attempted to contact Allstate Protection who say that they will be contacting you. I tried to contact Dyson Direct through EBAY no response for over a week. Its a big runaround. So Im going to report to regulatory for fraud I.e.
warranty representation. Because neither Dyson nor Allstate will respond.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. When I filled a complaint with the BBB, they sent a replacement.
A week after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I received a new air wrap in the mail. No email announcing it.
No tracking notice. No hint it was coming.
Imagine that. I detest this company, and although they finally replaced the defective machine, I would never purchase anything from them again.
Dyson sent me a return label which I used to send back the faulty Airwrap, but it was lost in the mail and there were no updates on the tracking number. UPS stated Dyson had to file for an investigation/claim because they bought the return label, and Dyson filed the claim in August. I called and called Dyson and used their chat service and was put off every time. It's now December and I have not been refunded nor received a replacement - but UPS stated they have paid Dyson's claim for the lost package.
Dyson never answers emails and their response is always: 'I have escalated your case to the concern team and I am supposed to receive an email in 36-72 hrs.' That email never comes. I am out the money I paid for the Airwrap and the Airwrap itself. Dyson is a thief.
They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Avoid them at all costs!

Verified Reviewer |Poor Customer Service for two older Dyson model vacuums
This review is not sent in anger, just complete and utter disappointment in Dyson's lack of help with their machines. I attended the Service Centre at Taren Point in Sydney yesterday (19.02.2025) after taking the day off work.
I brought in my two Dyson vacuums (1 x barrel model 10-12 yrs old?) and a (stick model - 7 yrs old?) assuming that they could be serviced but because they were older models, the CS rep. was not interested in helping. The rep. asked if I was registered and because of the time passed, I could not remember.
There was no offer to check their records. The barrel model was working okay until my pup chewed through the electric cord, and the stick had not really worked very well since purchased. It always kept stopping/starting so it could not be used regularly. The CS rep.
took the filter out of the stick one and it had some dust but the rep. was making out that it was completely full of dust, and that is why the machine did not work. This is completely wrong. From the time of purchase, this stick vacuum had not worked properly.
I thought that Dyson would have offered a service on both (I was happy to pay for them) but I was told 'no, as they are older models, there are no parts', and they could do nothing, thus rendering both vacuums useless. I asked if the electric cord could be replaced and both machines inspected but again, 'nothing' happened, the CS rep was not willing to help at all. After the lack of service by the CS rep., I was offered to talk to a technician, but after the non-service from the CS rep, I knew it would be a one-way conversation (Dyson's not mine). I had to, unfortunately, leave my two machines at Taren Point for scrap.
I am just so very disappointed as the CS I received was unbelievable. I know that my machines were older models but still usable, and if they could have at least just had a look at them, they could have taken them into their care and contacted me after a few days with a result. In the end, once machines age, Dyson consider them useless, and I think they expect you to buy another machine. The whole experience with Dyson CS was appalling and could have been better-handled.
I was always under the impression that Dyson backed and supported their machines and their customers. Sadly, in this case, it was non-existent. Had I known previously that the Dyson's CS and support were so bad, I would have never purchased the two vacuums in the first place.
I am ordering another two vacuums tomorrow, and they will not be Dyson's... I need a company to back and look after their customers, which sadly Dyson does not.

Dyson hot cool air purifier , model HP 10 . The customer service suggested they would offer a 20% discount to buy a new Dyson product when the item is 3 days old.
Chandrakanth - Dyson Expert was handling my inquiry. These email representatives are not experts in customer service let alone on the Dyson products. The contact center, they are trained to gather the consumer 's data, english is barely a second language. Dyson wants your data before allowing you to speak with a manager who likely doesn't exist from a domestic standpoint, thus you're left with wherever this support has been cobbled together.Issue with this HP10,thermal management,and the remote keeps falling off the magnetic storage area.So,at some point, one would prematurely need to replace it due to damage,at a premium price.
IF a company like Dyson wants a premium for their brand, they ought to act premium. One can understand why James couldn't build an EV, the engineering needs to be capable of building a reliable household appliance first.

I purchased the Dyson Airwrap for my daughter as a Christmas gift, spending a hefty $469.99. The item arrived promptly after I ordered it on December 2, and my daughter was thrilled to use it on Christmas Day.
Unfortunately, her excitement was short-lived. After just one use, the device completely failed to turn on.
This is where the nightmare began. I contacted Dyson's customer service, only to be met with scripted, robotic responses that failed to address my questions or concerns. It was impossible to get a straight answer from anyone.
The options they gave me were equally appalling: wait two months for a refund or return the defective product for a replacement. Reluctantly, we chose the replacement route and shipped the faulty unit back on December 26. Dyson confirmed the receipt of the return on December 30.
Assuming the replacement process would be quick, I called on January 2 to check the status, only to be told I'd have to wait 18 business days before they'd even ship the replacement. To make matters worse, one representative claimed the item was out of stock, while another said it was available.
After an hour and 20 minutes on hold, I finally spoke to a supervisor who confirmed the item was in stock but insisted the 18-business-day timeline still stood, meaning we wouldn't see a replacement until the end of January.
Here's where it gets even more infuriating: the supervisor explained that the 60-day refund window began on the original purchase date, not the replacement date. By the time we received the replacement, we would have only one week left to decide if we wanted a refund. If the replacement failed like the original, we'd be out of luck, forced into an endless cycle of repairs. Adding insult to injury, the two-year warranty also doesn't reset with the replacement unit.
So, thanks to Dyson's delays, two months of our warranty are already wasted.
The lack of accountability, the blatant disregard for their customers' time, and the appalling quality of their product are unacceptable. Dyson has proven to be unreliable at every turn, and I strongly urge anyone considering their products to think twice.
For nearly $500, you expect excellence, not a defective product and endless frustration. Buyer beware!

The unit cannot be repaired. The warranty expired 24 months after purchase. I bought it for my wife as a gift a few Christmases ago, and since then, we've continually struggled with it charging and holding a charge. For a price tag of over $500.00, it's an expensive item compared to other similar products on the market. However, I believed the style, quality, and dependable engineering of the Dyson justified the extra cost. I've purchased the full matching set of hair products for my wife, including the Airwrap and the Supersonic hair dryer sets, with no issues.
We also use Dyson vacuums and air purifiers/fans in our home, which have performed well. Our V12 vacuum had a battery issue and was replaced without the usual long procedure of questions and answers, which I greatly appreciated.
This wasn't the case with this unit, I'm quite upset that after 45 minutes I was told there was nothing that could be done, but I could BUY a replacement for another $500.00+ with a 20% off coupon, which brings it down to about $450.00. It's not about the money, but the fact that the unit has a design flaw with the lithium-ion battery, just like the V12. To add to that, there's no way to remove the battery to repair or replace the unit. Either way, I'm out about $450.00 to replace something that should've lasted over five years without issue.
I'm disappointed with how the support representative handled this situation. I provided photos of the device in excellent working condition and explained that it's been used maybe four to six times a month in the last 30 months. I would appreciate if someone from @dyson could contact me to correctly address this situation.

User's recommendation: Make sure you register your product with Dyson upon purchase. If you have ANY issues within the warranty timeframe, demand a original equipment replacement. These products cost too much money to last any less than 60 months, let alone 24.

Nothing they have offered no help or solution it’s been over 4 months
The dust bin is hard to fully empty & the roller gets filthy & has to be hand washed weekly. After only a few months of use the entire cleaner head broke off the machine. This is the only vacuum I currently own. Im disabled & need to keep floors spotless for my small ESA animals.
Ive been contacting Dyson for almost 4 months now & I cry every single day. This part has been out of stock for 4 months & they will not send me a replacement unless I send my vacuum in first, leaving me w/ nothing for 2weeks- 20days+, with nothing to clean with. Ive spent months looking on marketplace for cheap alternatives or giveaways but I have had no luck. This has completely consumed my life.
Ive been crawling on my hands & knees for months trying to use my broken machine thats duct taped together & barely works & its agonizing torture. Why am I not able to get a replacement & then send back my broken machine like every other retailer? It makes no sense & has made my life a complete nightmare bc there is NOTHING Dyson can do & Im stuck with a broken piece of junk despite having a warranty, that is completely useless.
I will never buy another Dyson product & wish they would just refund me for the months weeks/ days /hours spent on the phone to ultimately accomplish nothing. Miserable experience I hope no one ever has to live thru :/

I bought the product from the Dyson Frankfurt store and when it arrived in my country two days later, I had a problem the first time I tried it and my product did not work. I searched everywhere and no one helped. It is such a big brand but it is unreliable.

Absolutely useless! Have wasted 5 months of my life & hours on the phone every other day to get nowhere :/ why sell a vacuum you can get parts for? What’s the purpose of the warranty? If there are vacuums being sold & refurbished models & the part is being sold on eBay etc…..

Sadly I had to contact they’re legal department to get this solved, but a customer solution representative got a hold of me somebody that was in escalations named Dana and she solved it and was very professional and now my opinion is positive of Dyson once more!
