Dyson - Product great-Customer Service not so great
Dyson contacted me and said that they have to sell the whole cyclone unit to me for over $40 for a $2 part that they should have in stock. Sure is a nice company that wants to screw you out of money.
I made my own gasket and it works. Thanks for the great customer service Dyson, you won't be getting any of my business any day soon.
I have a Dyson DC-44 animal cordless vacuum and it's been running great but then the following happens.
I have called their customer service and also emailed them about a gasket that wore out on my dc-44 animal vacuum cyclone unit and they don't even sell the gasket. You need to purchase a $40 new cyclone unit instead of a $2 rubber gasket even after I send a picture of the place the gasket is suppose to go and a make shift one that I created. Talk about lousy customer service. I would bend over backwards to make a customer happy but they seem to don't want to keep there customers after they purchase the product.
They claim that the part I need only comes with the whole cyclone unit but look what I found on the net from the UK in the photo below. The part that I need but they don't have. LOL
My philosophy is that you could have the greatest product in the world but if your support dept is lousy the the product is lousy.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $500.
Dyson Pros: When they work their great but hope it never breaks down.
Dyson Cons: Customer service is a joke.
