I rang the Dyson repair service for my DC50 which had constantly gone wrong just after the warranty ran out. They replied by phone the next day to make an appointment but saying the call out including repair would be over £150.
Does this mean that the same price is charged for a major or minor repair? How can they justify such an excessive charge? Very disappointed in their service and also this current Dyson lightweight DC50 which is not strong enough, constantly falls over, won't reach up the stairs, and blocks continuously. I have not had a problem before with my old Dyson which lasted 10 years.
I will take the present problem to my local repair shop and get it done for £50!! Probably will replace with another make in future.
Review about: Vacuum Cleaner Repair.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
I didn't like: Excessive fee wanted for a repair, Not knowing what the repair would be.
