I ordered a dyson vacuum. After their glitchy website made a mess of the order, I call and spoke with a person (who was very nice).

She assured me the previous order had not gone through and she re-placed me order. I was hesitant at the time, but believed her. Sure enough, a week later I get two vacuums, and two deductions from my checking account. I contacted the company and was given TWO return numbers.

UPS, or FedEx, I can't remember now it's been so long, came to pick up the vacuum and although I had two return numbers, Dyson had only sent UPS one OK for shipment. So they would only take one box. Of course, I sent the vacuum back, not the box of attachments. Time passed.

No refund into my checking account. I emailed. No response. I called.

It's now been over a month since I sent it back. Again, very nice person on the phone. TOld me some *** about the address not being exactly right in their system,so although they had gotten the vaccum back, they couldn't process the refund. But now they could, since I had called!

Yay! Not. It's been another three weeks. Still no money back.

I call today and message says they aren't answer the phone because of a meeting. Seriously???? I have emailed again. We'll see if I get a reply.

This company has very nice people to talk to, but they are not interested in actually satisfying the customer. It's not like I want some unreasonable.

You got your vacuum back, completely unopened. Just REFUND MY MONEY!!!!

Reason of review: I can't get my refund from this company for returned item..

Monetary Loss: $280.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I have had a similar refund, or lack thereof, problem with Dyson. Ordered one D7 vacuum, but received two and charged for two.

One was charged at the sale price, one at the higher regular price. As directed by Dyson, returned one of them unopened in the box. After months of calls from me, Dyson finally refunded the sale price for the returned vacuum, but kept the high regular price money from me. After several more months of calling, despite repeated assurances the difference would be refunded, no refund received.

It has now been 8 months since the original order.

As far as I can tell, Dyson is operating an intentional scam on its customers. Buyer beware!

I have waited 150 days so far for my refund (June 5 to Nov 2) What should I do next?

I've been waiting close to two months after returning vacuum. Called numerous times but the answer is they haven't heard from returns department.

I too am clueless on what to do next.

Such a terrible way of handling returns for such a giant company. Shame on you Dyson...Die Soon !!

I've been waiting almost 3 months for a refund on returned vacuum, I've called numerous times and get the same answer, 7-10 days. Don't really know what to do next, better business bureau I guess.

I have mine return last month. It was a sealed box of cordless V7 vaccum with all the accessories.

I had to return since I received one as a holiday gift from my brother. Their record shows that they did receive it on Dec 1, 2018 but as of yet no refund. Initially they were talking about 4-6 business days but today the lady said it takes upto 1-2 billing cycles. When I asked if this is your written policy, her answer was this is from higher management and she did not sure if this bs is part of their policy.

I was not expecting these kind of tactics from such a reknown firm who obviously make great products. I am very much disappointed with my purchase.
